Sooo... Here's my (extremely WiP) Medieval town!

Its got embankments, a bridge, some lights... houses... a boat...

aaand thats about it for now. Will post download link when progress is about 25%. DOWNLOAD ADDED!

Recommended texture pack is Dokucraft Dark/Light.

WEBSITE LINK FOR DOKUCRAFT: dokucraft.co.uk

Seed is [Will look it up later. too lazy atm]

So yeah. Medieval town. May or may not take a few months to complete.

Surrounding villages to come after town is done!

1.8 is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

NOTE: I WILL BE FOCUSING MORE ON THE FORUM POST THAN HERE. EXPECT THIS POST TO GET UPDATES ONLY EVERY 2ND UPDATE ON THE FORUM POST

I can tell this will be a good build
Its realistic becouse all the smoke is going in one direction. Simce there is smoke all the fireplaces/fureses have to be light, but i doubt that everyone has theyr fire on.
Also if the ship is parked the sail should be retracted.

Sorry that was just me rambling what my ocd sees pls dont take it as an insult or shomething.

Well, the reason for that is... wind?

Yeah. Wind.

And also the only true way different smoke directions can be justified is if they're all going straight up and not diaganally.

No the smoke is fine.
And if the ship is leaving then the sail is pulled in the right direction.

The houses. When I detail a build, I mostly randomize some stairs in stone materials, then it looks like a missing brick. you can use mossy and cracked materials too that way. further, if the houses had planters and little roofings over the windows (example), or maybe a nice porch or balcony, Lines in the roof for support, that kind of stuff. It'd be lovely to add!
Keep up the nice work!
