Castle Cantel belongs to House Cantel. House Cantel is currently under attack by the pirate Coalition.
Back when the pirate coalition was started, Cantel was an ally and supplied the kingdom of Sanctus/city of Sacranium with most of its food.
However recently a new emperor has risen in the Drogovid empire and he is looking to reclaim all of their former empire.

When House Cantel heard that House Drogovid was on the warpath they quickly changed sides. Killing all the pirates that were living on their lands. The pirates were furious and decided to besiege and claim Castle Cantel for their own.
The siege has only lasted for about 2 weeks. When the pirates arrived they decided to make camp close to the castle itself. House Cantel wanted to take advantage of this and attacked while they were setting up their camp. They set the surrounding trees on fire and it was a very bloody and messy battle. The pirates won and House Cantel retreated back to their castle.

The next day the pirates decided to attack the castle but were unsuccessful. Now the pirates have built some catapults and are attacking the castle until they surrender. House Cantel has sent out ravens to house Drogovid asking for their support. Now a small army is marching and is stationed at Caentar. But they are unsure whether they will march straight to Sacranium or if they will help out house Cantel
