Metropol Server Landscaping Project [discontinued]

Hello Guys 'n Girls,

as my Metropol City and Metropol Seaport projects are going well, landscaping is a bit slow... not to say "no visible progress at all".



So, this way I am looking for "landscapers".



I can imagin two ways of your participation:
  1. You develop and build a landscape with a tool of your choice, and I import it to my server (schematics), with credit given, ofc.
  2. You join the server and play for a while, build stuff like houses etc. and after you get promoted to "trusted" rank, you get WE rights to start landscaping.


Sadly, for me, it is impossible to effectivly prevent griefing by a person with WE rights, so I will not grant anyone those rights immediately. Thank you, for your understanding.



Landscapes I planned:
  • desert (hughe, maybe with screnery to limit width)
  • mountains (behind the desert with a hughe dam on the border to desert)
  • any good ideas by you


The reason why I don't use standard generated landscapes is simple: They are way too small, as I plan a world 1:1 scale. Desert is planned about 60 millin blocks in square (15k*4k blocks) for example. As well I am quiet shure voxel sniper would crash my server as it might be a bit outdated... anyway I don't know how to use (but I am willing to give it a shot if someone wants).
