First Metropolis was built from 2012-2013 and I had so much fun that I submitted the map to Minecraftmaps.com and put a adfly link on it. I ended up getting a lot of views and some positive feedback.

2nd iteration of Metropolis was from 2014-2015 and had a large expansion going from 30 buildings to over 75.

The 3rd one was supposed to be released in 2017. It featured a giant airport, nuclear power plant, and tons of new cool buildings built using a different style after I learned a few things in worldedit, but there was hard drive corruption and everything was lost and I quit the game for years. It was really devastating and I think of that moment of frustration to this day, on occasion. What significant loss to something so unexplainable!

But now.......Im back and more motivated than ever to get this idea realized because its been in my head for a decade now and I have the time and will power to bring this city into the 1.19 era!

I build 100% solo using only Worldedit and a map mod (Journey or Xaeros) and lately Ive found Macaw's mods nice to add furniture and windows and pathways and small stuff like that.
