We have an open server week starting today 01/02/2012 until 10/02/2012. EVERYONE is free to join and check out Stormwind.
We have an ungriefable Stormwind World as default for people to check out. If you feel you can contribute, feel free to show us your ideas on the fully editable replica world!
If we see anything we like, it might be migrated to the protected world for keeps!
To switch between worlds use the following commands:
Protected world:
/world spawn stormwind
Unprotected world:
/world spawn editstormwind
Lastly, to connect to this server you will need to download the following packadge which will enable all minecraft modifications clientwise. To do this easily follow these steps:
1. Download the file minecraftstormwind.zip from here:
http://www.mediansoft.net/mc/minecraftstormwind.zip
2. BACKUP your .minecraft directory located at:
c:usersusernameAppdataRoaming
Note: you can also type the following in the search box on Vista/7 to get to this location:
%appdata%
3. Unzip the content of the zip file you downloaded to the Roaming directory. (So Appdata/Roaming/.minecraft)
4. That's it, log in (do NOT update the client) and join the server (which will be preset on the multiplayer page)
If at any time you want to switch back, just delete .minecraft and replace by your backed up version.
