Update postponed
This redstone machine has updates in the works, but I have decided to put this project on hold for now.
I will be returning to this project when the time is right.
This is a redstone banking system that I made. Unlike other redstone banks, this machine requires 2 items from users: an ID card, and their own customizable passkey item. There are 40 accounts.
Features
- Minimalism: Just a minecart to insert items, a button to submit those items, and a barrel to get back items.
- Informational: Coloured redstone lamp indicators show users whether their transactions are accepted or not. Flashes green if accepted, red if rejected, and blue once a transaction is successfully completed.
- Security: Providing an incorrect passkey will cause the transaction to be declined and the account box will stay safely in the bottom and not be given.
- Ease of Use: Ability for users to create their own accounts automatically, requiring only three copies of the ID card and passkey. No need for 18 or 20 items here.
- Safety: Because items thrown at the safety deposit boxes will get stuck, a hopper system will return the stuck items to the user automatically.
- Flexibility: Probably the most impressive feature is the ability for users to change their passkey item! By pressing certain buttons, the user can express their wish to change their passkey, and the machine will eject the old one from the system, and accept a new one as replacement, all automated without the need of an employee to go into the maintenance area.
Installation
All downloads are in .zip format for Minecraft Java Edition.- Press the download button to download the files directly or from MediaFire.
- The compressed archive you will receive contains two folders: Documentation and Map. Copy or move the Map folder into your world saves folder. The Documentation folder is for you to look at. I highly recommend reading Manual.md, as it contains the main instructions.
- Docs only: Learn more about the machine by downloading just the documentation.

Here is the credit and inspiration for this awesome machine.- K1 Inc. for their ATM design that I started with. I then worked off of it to create this one.

Account Deletion is now available! : by one2many 09/28/2021 2:54:04 amSep 28th, 2021
I finally rigged up a system that will allow the Delete Account system to function correctly—hopefully. Try out the Delete Account button and see if you encounter any problems with the system.
Be sure to read the manual for updated information.
This is probably the biggest update so far! See you in another one!

For a more visual experience, you can paste the file contents into an online Markdown renderer but note that this won't include the images that come with it.
Question for you, what impressed you the most about the machine? A lot of stuff is at work here. And are there any changes I could make to improve? I'd love your feedback!
I do think I did something wrong already (okay, I admit I didn't read the manual first - so that's on me...)
Either way, if you're experiencing trouble, you can always re-install the world to reset the machine. If you still feel like things aren't working, feel free to drop another comment!
The manual document sort of is a picture guide as it is a Markdown file, including pictures. If you read it, you won't break the machine.
Just to nail it down, the most important rule to not break the machine is: Do not insert more than one item into hopper minecarts.
It's awesome you're taking a look behind the scenes of my machine. Just be careful not to fly into any tripwire because it will activate the wrong circuits at the wrong time.
The way you handle the minecarts in the back system (bubble column elevator for them) with tripwires and slime-blocks is pretty fancy & new to me.
