And now, for another important update:
I'VE BEGUN AGAIN!!!! I am, however, still open to other people's cards. They'd be like the "shiny" cards in pokémon.
The cut-off text in the enderman picture says "Because it says "(end)," this mob can only spawn in the end realm without using the card or ability "force spawn."
Important Update:
This is now an "Open Project." This means that I will be relying on you guys for more cards. I don't have time for something really big like this. The card maker can be found here. Various rules and card details can be found in the updates section. If you want you card to be part of the official deck, PM it to me.
Origin
The other day, I was doing nothing, and so I thought to myself "What's something I liked to do as a kid that I could do now?" The first thing that came to mind was pokemon cards, but I had sold all of mine. But then I though "Hey, wouldn't it be neat if they had cards for Minecraft?" That's how this idea was born.
Rules
Begin the game by randomly drawing a realm card. The realm determines what base mobs / environment events can spawn there without a "force spawn" card or ability. The three kinds of playable cards are mobs, items, and events / abilities.
Deal yourself a hand of 5. You can have up to five mob cards out at once, either in the front or back lines. Only mobs in the front lines can attack, with certain exceptions (ie: skeleton's arrow.)
Each turn, each card attacks in order of speed. In case of a speed tie, roll the dice. The player with the highest number gets to go. Certain mobs can only be place on top of other mobs. The card/s required will be in brackets beside the name. Base doesn't require a prerequisite.
Redrawing cards / placing new ones happens when all mobs have attacked that turn.
When a card dies, it is out of play for good.
This game also requires a dice and a coin.
