Hi and welcome to the Minecraft tutorial for beginners and parents!
Aloha! And welcome to the Fab five Minecraft tutorial. Our goal is to help parents and beginners learn more about Minecraft so they can engage with their children or simply to learn how to play. Through our tutorial, you will ultimately be able to survive your first night in the game. We have broken our course into four sections, or as we refer to them in minecraft lingo, biomes. As you make your way through our site please follow along with each video to master two basic skills before you begin your final test which is surviving the first night in the survival world of Minecraft.

To begin please navigate to minecraft.net as you see on the screen here so to get here you can simply go to Google, type in minecraft and you should be able to just follow the first link official site. Now one of the members of our team should have emailed you with your login info so go ahead and click on login type in your email address and the provided password and go ahead and log in now that you're logged in here navigate to the download section and should give you a few options you can show all four download options and depending if you have a Mac Windows or Linux download the appropriate software once you begin downloading go ahead and initiate the program and it should give you the minecraft Launcher.
Now you may need to login again to make sure you have your account logged in. At this point when you click play it should have you update your files. This could take up to 20 Minutes, so once you get to the Minecraft official title page go ahead and proceed to the next tutorial video. From there we'll start our first tutorial with basic controls. Alright! See you there!
So what is Minecraft?
Not just a video game, Minecraft is an online interactive experience that allows the users to explore virtual reality realms, where one must forage, gather and construct in order to survive. Whether you can either create your own realm, or join an already existing one, you can work with others to create your neighborhood and work together to fend off the monsters in the night. With 4 modes of play available, users can choose the level of interactivity and difficulty they wish to play in. With more than 60 million copies sold and 100 million users, Minecraft is one of the most popular games ever created. After downloading, the game is super intuitive, so you can start playing right away!

- You will be directed to an external site, wait 5 seconds and DO NOT CLICK ON ANY ADD, if a window pop up,
come back to main one and click the the skip ads button on the top right of the page if necessary.
- You will be directed to Mediafire, look for the zip file on the top right
- Click the the green download button, your download should start ;)
- Enjoy!

How to install the map after you down:
- Locate where you downloaded the zip file
- Unzip the .zip file you have downloaded
- Go to the start button of windows and type the search bar: %appdata%
- Open .minecraft
- Open saves
- Copy or cut the folder you have just extracted into the the saves folder you opened
- Start up the game (Minecraft), the world should be in your save menu now under singleplayer
- Load the map and enjoy!
- Unzip the .zip file you have downloaded
- Go to the start button of windows and type the search bar: %appdata%
- Open .minecraft
- Open saves
- Copy or cut the folder you have just extracted into the the saves folder you opened
- Start up the game (Minecraft), the world should be in your save menu now under singleplayer
- Load the map and enjoy!
