Miner's Heaven Maze | Maze Maker Deluxe

You live in a little village, but you don’t have enough food to feed yourself and your family. You are a miner, but you can't find enough goods to get much money. One day, you hear people talk about the “Miner’s Heaven”. It is a big cave, far away from your village. Some days later, you grab your tools and go on a journey to the cave. When you arrive, it’s already dark and monsters are lurking around, so you decide to go in, not knowing that you might never find out of there…

About the map

You have to find out of the maze. On your way out, you also have to collect a key, because the exit is locked!
The Map consists of 14 different custom tiles. The walls have also been customized! In the maze, you will find some traps, so watch out! If you die, you respawn at the beginning. If you lose the key while dying, there's not much you can do: You lost the challenge of the maze. Will you be able to find your way out?

This map should work best on 1.16.5. While it may work on newer versions, things may break and you will not receive support.
If you're experiencing lag, you should lower your render distance to 8 or below.

This Map was created for the PMC Maze Making Minecraft Contest. I saw this event on my homepage and I was instantly invested. I really like the original map. It is just incredible to see what people can do with redstone. I spent around 2 hours per day since this event went online to create this. The tiles were all created by me, Louis9. I got the idea with the door from a friend. I hope you enjoy playing my maze as much as I enjoyed building it! I used World Edit for some parts, because it was a big help for the walls or the floor and such big things. If you like my maze, please consider giving it a diamond, it would really help me out!

Fun hopping through your maze cave. Found the exit but I couldn't find the key. Was it supposed to be in the empty chest or was that a decoy? Either way, I had fun.

It should be in the chest over a lava pool, kinda hidden.
When I tested the maze it was there, strange. I'm gonna test it later, maybe there's some sort of bug.

As far as I have seen, it is in the chest. Looks like you have to look for it a little bit better ;)

Pretty nice made, I do want to suggest to crank up your video setting (smooth lightning) when making screenshots. After all, we don't see the lag you might experience.

Either way, quite nice done fellow contestant.
