I have only uploaded this map to Planet Minecraft.
This is my ongoing Minecraft mini-city project, the city of Paxton! This is a fictional, realistic city map built on a flat grass world with a scale of 1:15. Each block in this city is 15 cubic meters. Originally inspired from the SimCity series, the small scale of Paxton became a way to build a large, sprawling city with less focus on individual buildings. Because of its small scale, Paxton spans several kilometers with many urban environments, including a downtown core, beach towns, universities, a properly scaled airport, a seaport, and sprawling suburbs. US cities, particularly Los Angeles and Chicago, continue to serve as key inspiration for how I build this city. I don’t have much of an end goal in mind and love working on this map, so expect slow but steady progress. :)
Some notes:
- A few buildings around the city were done by a friend of mine (turtlelover3526), including help with the tallest tower.
- One block of road holds about 2-3 lanes.
- Most typically, black wool represents city roads, gray wool represents highways and parking lots, and light gray wool represents small streets and parking lots.
- A map of the city can be found inside the black and white stadium near the downtown.
- Since I started building this map 9 years ago, some of the older areas don't look nearly as good as the newer ones.
- Flashing lights around the city are powered by underground command blocks attached to restone clocks.
- For reference, the city's tallest tower is close to the height of Sears Tower in Chicago.
- Don't mind what's under the mountains.

Update v0.33 : by Plutanium 05/15/2025 11:00:20 pmMay 16 @ 3:00 am UTC
Lots of new stuff! The university and lakeside area in the north (Sanchez) has seen modest expansion, but I focused most on the areas south of the river this time around. I added several new neighborhoods reaching southwest to a new golf course. Also in the south, I placed lots of roads, rail corridors, and even a new river between the southeast port city (Avera) and a new yet to be named suburban core next a lake. A couple landmarks around this area include a dead mall and the beginning of a small new airport. I also finally started to build a theme park, now moved to the far southwest.
A couple other changes: I have started to add text to the various billboards around the city, and I have updated an aspect of union station -- instead of the metro tracks tunneling awkwardly into the hill across the channel, I remodeled the underground part of union station to allow the tracks to continue northward. If Paxton had real trains, this would improve their efficiency quite a lot. :)
Notable Additions:
- The start of a new small airport and a theme park.
- Roads, rails, and a channelized river in the south.
- Developed new areas. New landmarks include a dead mall, a golf course, and an oil drilling island.
- Expanded metro system to reach further southwest and partially remodeled union station.
- Billboards now have text advertising local businesses.

I play on Bedrock though, so I was wondering if you were planning on porting it to Bedrock. It's okay if you can't, because I know it is probably hard, but I would love it if you did.
Even if you don't, I still love this map and wish you a good day!
Hope you have a good day too :)
I featured your creation on my video, I gave you credits both in the video and in the description (with a Link to your PlanetMinecraft page) : youtu.be/nwv6GLZeXWE
You deserve it ^^
