Are you sick and tired of the default Hostile Mobs in Minecraft? Of course you are! This project is just what you need.

Powered by redstone, commandblocks, a button and some magic this machine will alter the Hostile Mobs in your world (Currently only Zombies are available)!

The best thing is that you don't have to download a whole world and start your survival adventure all over again. No, you can just download this MCEdit schematic, put it in your existing world, configure which mobs you want and push a button! It's that simple.

Requirements
- Put the schematic within the spawn chunks of your world! This can be done above ground or underground, just make sure it's in your spawn chunks. You can also make chunkloaders and put the schematic close to their, but chunk loaders are less reliable
(If you've built your base at spawn and don't feel like putting this thing at your base, you can alter the location of the spawnchunks with /setworldspawn or by using MCEdit)
- This is compatible with Minecraft 1.8 and 1.8.1

Recommendations
- Actually play pretty far away from were you put this schematic. This will reduce lag (with a decent computer this isn't necessary)
- Test out what each zombie does, some are quite... challenging

We will develop this project regardless of the ratings. Some Feedback, Bugreports, Favorites and Diamonds are always appreciated though.

+1 and fav. ! This looks pretty usefull, I am working on a custom map, with custom loot / spawn etc.
and still need to learn soo much about command blocks :(

You picked the worst time to start actually, 1.8 added a lot of new commands and a whole new way of creating a system has been developed.

I know :( But bevore I seach forever, can you help me? Is there a way to stop mobs spawning
except for (custom) zombies (Just an example)?

You can do /gamerule doMobSpawning false. This will prevent the natural spawning of all mobs, so you can still summon them in.

It won't work well with this "machine" though, since it converts natural spawned zombies into custom ones instead of summoning the custom ones in immediatly :/.

/gamerule doMobSpawning false will disable all spawns, I know :)
But do you know if there is a way to convert natural mobs to mobs with (already made) custom items/gear?

But thanks for the help ! Guess I will need some time to go through the command blocks wiki ;)
