At a town called "Admintown" on the server World of Keralis I build this grand luxurious modern mansion. The mansion is 100% done. Also decorated! This was my first attememt to even build a mansion. Think this was even one of my first modern builds.

It has a:
  • Open hallway/stairway
  • Reception
  • Art gallery
  • Multiple study's
  • Large kitchen
  • Large livingroom
  • Large dining
  • Two bedrooms
  • Multiple balcony's
  • and lounge (basement)
  • Terras with dock
  • Small private beach

Enjoy!

ps. Keep in mind this build is done in a older MC version. Think around 1.3.0 or something.

How many Item Frames did you put in there?!?!!?!?1 Whenever I try to check it out it crashes and says that the chunks are corrupted and the biome id is invalid. This is probably because of the glitch where if you put too many item frames in a chunk, the chunk becomes corrupted

Think non, because this was build before there were any item frames ;) You see paintings in the screenshots, but no item frames.

Sorry dude, I have no time and energy to 'recreate' a old build. Why not import it trough the schematic? :)
What im asking is that you re-create your epic build on a diferent server for me. like on my property. i have all the materials.
what are the dimensions of your amazing, beautiful, spectacular mansion!!!!!
Hey can you make it on this other server for me. Dude this is the best house i've ever seen!!! and i just cant figure out the dimensions and textures and stuff. i just really want to make it :D, but i need some help. ill supply the supplies and everything :)

Thanks mate! What do you need? I do not really understand what your saying? There is a worldsave and schematic availible so you can see the dimensions. Texture is Moartex: http://www.keralis.net/cforum/m/5931118/viewthread/3321617-64x151-moartex-misas-soartex-medley/page/1

Very good build, but maybe add some more colours and have a bit more open space in your interior. Because if you would live there IRL you would be freaked out by all the little details.

True, It's more a modern fantasy build then a RL build I think. Still the livingroom, kitchen and diningroom have enhough space of them own. Also you can hide yourself in the bedroom and have a shower without your dad or mam seeing you ;)

I don't really see a style that you follow, but one thing I see commonly is that in some part of buildings, the higher layer is actually sticking out just like those medieval buildings.
I also see nice curves in around your itallian villas and other medieval builds. And at the same time, you are good with creating flat rooftop too.
I think you can try combining these two rooftop styles and see what would come out.
I also think that you are good with intersecting one part with other part. LIke in the picture three, you managed to combine a rectangular room with windows, some pillars at right, and the main body of the building quite successfully. You should try improving those intersections even more. The seamless transition of one part to another.

Finaly! My first real comment I can learn form. And that in over 1 year of MC.. thank you so much.

Think I just did a flat-pointy-roof build on WOK. Will finish it up and post it on PMC.

Next, I really started to love curves. If you wanne see my most curved project so far click here. It's a Steampunk Airship.

I will be working on my intersetions. This mansion is a old build btw, think I grown on it allready, but still it's allways a challenge.

LOL it's always those "WOW NICE!" type comments.

I'm not really for curves in minecraft because I personally think that it's just against how minecraft works. I usually try to keep everything straight. But well, its partially because I can't be bothered to create a nice curve.

I think you should even out the amount the balloon is expanding. At the moment it looks like the air inside is moving to right side for some reasons.

I think this is your best modern build. It's nice to go back to old styles some times. You can see I didn't use much pillars in my luxurious modern villa, which was the earliest modern villa I created yet the most successful one in terms of views, popularity and simplicity of the structure.

Lolz, yeah it is right... Constructive critisism is mostly far to find :P
Just good for the ego...

Patterns, curves. It's looks cool from a distance.
I know what you mean of my balloon(s). But think it will work out fine when I add patterns on the other two balloons too.

HUmm, yeah, got several more somewhere, but don't know how to find them on WOK :P Some are deleted because of map changes etc. But thanks. Old stuff rocks, LOLZ.
