Since I'm poor and I love beautiful houses, I like to do them in minecraft and it actually helps the ache to get one IRL.
I build this 95% in creative mode version 1.11.2 and I used MCEdit to adjust the positions of structures, made some trees etc.
The house is a little bit out of scale, I wanted to make it feel spacious and I hate one block wide corridors. I also took some artistic freedom with the furniture and detail to make it work and look good in minecraft. I found the blueprints of the house so that helped a lot with the interior.
The custom trees are made in MCEdit with the forester filter and I actually like them a lot. I suck with trees and such if I try to make them myself.
No mods were used in this, only a texture pack, which is a mix up of mostly SMP's Revival with some Painterly and my own modifications.
I believe this will also look good with John Smiths textures and maybe with conquest too, haven't tried. It's also ok with vanilla.
Some paintings may look a bit out of place with other textures but that's a minor issue IMO.

Ps.I love medieval theme and my map is a melting pot of old times so everything is not realistic and relevant.

And I know that 1800's is definitely not medieval but the keywords are for click baits, right?
