A quick little experiment that turned out way better than expected.

Lore:


Early in spring, the east side of Mount Maledor is a mass of snow. As the sun climbs across the horizon each day, that snow is melted away, and the grassy fields below begin to green again. before long, all that's left of the snow are rivulets of water running downwards, into the valley below.

I've created a separate version that's not 1 slope, but a central mountain thingy with slopes in all directions.


Also added download, which consists of 3 worldfiles. one slope with snow, one without and the big square one

Lol, I wonder.. if thats really Voronoi. How he made it look so much like mountains?

it does use voronoi, but it throws an F4 voronoi into an advanced perlin as distortion. A method he told me to try out several weeks before, but I didn't quite register it so I originally thought it was my own idea.
