When the server first started about 2-3 months ago I decided to build my house away from the rest of the village. I decided to be largely ambitious and build a mine cart track from the village to my house. As seen in one of the screen shots, I made a staircase-like tower for the tracks. After I did that I completely revamped the top of the mountain and some of the mountains face. Once I had done that, I began construction. For the main building block, I chose Bricks. I spent about 5 days constantly gathering clay, coal and other raw materials I needed, and this was during 1.7, so clay was incredibly scarce. Once I had all my necessary materials, I began putting it all together.

All up it took me about 10-14 days to make what I have so far. None of the interior is completed as of yet, I have only put a few basic features on the exterior of the house;
-A sky deck

-An outdoor area with a pool, barbecue, bar and some furniture
-A few small garden features at the front entrance

I haven't worked on this project for over a month now as I've been busy or working on my waterfront village. Though I don't think I ever will fully complete it. As for the design however, It simply was the end result of just aimlessly putting blocks down to suit the terrain, there wasn't any inspiration for it.

Though I hope you all like what I made so far with it, it took a while to make it since ALL materials were legitimately acquired (:

Changes to be made for a satisfactory completion:
-Interior:
First level
Second level
Attic
-Mine cart tower
-Changes to the mountain (to make it more natural)
-Changes to the outdoor areas
