This is the "path" leading to the castle, note the "M"s that appear everywhere in the design of the castle, those were fun to incorporate.

Upon arrival at the end of the "path" (I use quotes because it's more of a causeway) you are greeted with this magnificent sight.

Through the front gates, are stairs leading to the second floor and the keep, which we will address shortly. Also, this shot gives a delightful glimpse into the forest of pillars within the first floor atrium.

This lava/water/LAVA/water/lava glass staircase is a staple of mine in large structure builds. The glow it gives off always warms the heart of the crazed architect that lives deep in my psyche.

This shot gives you, the viewer, a glimpse of the hallways within the exterior walls of the castle and the stairways they contain, these wrap the main atrium completely and all lead to the corners of the second floor.

Going up a floor, you will find the upper keep area, filled with ridiculous architecture and all sorts of fun staircases to run around on. That, and it's pretty to boot.

When you go into the inner keep however, the motif changes a bit in accordance with a change in both architecture and general ennui. I like this part.

The inner-inner keep contains the Master Suite, the only area I claim as a "home" on the server. It generally cracks me up to come in here, mainly because of the fireplace and epic sofa.

Seen from above, the Master Suite contains not only the massive poster bed and sofa/fireplace combo, but a sizeable portion of loot and a hot tub. If this were real, I could die happy.

This has been a side project of mine recently when I've become sick of non-stop pixel art and I've finally reached a point where I think it's ready to be released to the public.
