Thank you. Anyway the story:

The water came from nowhere. The sky turned black. Then the monsters came, and there was nothing left.

The year is 2048. Neo Nagoya is the new capital of Japan. Tokyo was invaded by mobs, and Osaka was too polluted to even sustain life. In this world, light is very important. The great Chairman of the nation says so. On this day, he is taking his yacht through the sea gate on a journey to another world, and 13 lucky and loyal citizens are on a plane heading to another part of the galaxy. The people gather and cheer. There faces lit with excitement knowing their great Chairman will be the first human on a new world. Some cry. Some watch from the moon tower. A beacon of a building in the center of the city. The Chairman already has plans for more boats and planes to head through the portals, but for now they are almost non existent. Time is running out as air begins to run out, and more and more cities are disappearing as time goes on.

Building process:

Based on Neo Seoul from “cloud atlas” the city is run by a tyrant that has no intention of saving many people other than his loyal citizens and himself. The city is meant to glow, and looks compact. From the ground it’s supposed to make you forget about the sky by blocking it with futuristic lanterns and bridges. Tall buildings also obscure the view. The slums are meant to look like more normal buildings. They are closer to the water whereas other buildings are stacked and compressed.
