My 3rd relatively large bomber.

The YB-49 was the direct competitor to the YB-52 (which later entered service as the B-52 Stratofortress). The YB-49 was a flying wing, developed from the YB-36- an aircraft of the same airframe, just with 4 contra-rotating propellers. The YB-49 has one of the largest ranges of any bomber in the world, at around 10,800 miles (thats almost 1000 miles longer than the B-52H).

This thing was a pain to build, but I am very happy with how it came out in the end. I am considering making the YB-36 as well, based off this build.
