I'm back with another map! I know Its been hard without me. It's been almost three years. Minecraft has changed a lot and it's still very new to me. I had to teach myself map-making all over again but it still has the fulfilling satisfaction it always has.
Recently I've been interested in Anglo-Saxon history, specifically the history of my favorite Anglo-Saxon kingdom: Northumbria. So I made this map, inspired by the Northumbrian landscape. Granted, I've never been to Northumbria, (aside from taking a train through it) but I will be going soon. I hope I captured it somewhat. If I absolutely failed, I'll probably be making an update map after I've gone and seen the place!
I made this map for a potential role-play server. Shuddershockbailiff and I were building settlements on it when we lost interest. But that doesn't mean I'm not going to let the world have it! This is the version of the map without the builds. It is a wild, untamed, un-farmed Northumbrian landscape, ripe for starting whatever you want! Feel free to use it for your servers!
It's a roughly 2K by 4K map, which means it's roughly 2000 by 4000 blocks wide.
The custom trees used in this map were made by me.
This map was made with WorldMachine and WorldPainter.
I'm using the Excalibur 1.14 Resource Pack
The regular amount of survival ores and caves can be found under the surface of the map, so this map is survival friendly.
