Ocular Merger - Cyberpunk Future (Chunk Challenge)

Hello there, this is my interpretation of a dark, cyberpunk future where a race of alien eye parasites have conquered Earth. I wanted to create something different from what I usually do, and futuristic styles is really something I have never touched before. I also wanted to create a structure that does not cut off anywhere - it is complete and self-contained, and there are no walls that are imagined to continue outside of the chunk provided.

I did employ some degree of symbolism in the form of a treasure chest down below the earth, which is meant to represent the Earth's resources, which is being drained by the eye parasite in control of the skyscraper.

This project was built on three separate days, spread over most of the contest's duration. My best estimate is about 5-6 hours of concentrated building time.


Background

In a bleak, dystopian future, a race of sentient eye parasites infiltrated Earth's major corporations. At first their influence was subtle, providing guidance to the ruling oligarchy and laying the groundwork for their own ascension. Now, almost a decade later, their victory has long since been achieved. Hiding their existence is no longer necessary, and they brazenly merge with the walls of skyscrapers, observing the citizens below. Their stay is temporary, as once their corruption is complete, and all of Earth's treasures have been extracted, they will leave in search of another host, leaving a drained and broken shell behind.
