This is the Official Starter Map for the PMC & NVIDIA Minecraft Build Event, a 9km² huge custom Minecraft multibiome landscape, for Java & Bedrock. Build, explore, and adventure on a huge world with multiple islands, each assigned with enhanced vanilla biomes to build or survive in. A 3 km by 3 km realistic Minecraft world with custom & enhanced biomes, made by McMeddon. It's an Island with multiple huge mountain ranges, steep cliffs, falls, plateaus, layered terrains and hard eroded areas, landform adjusted river systems and temperature-determined biomes. |

- 📀 World: Removed the grass ground cover layer from flower patches, to enable it to be placed on coarse dirt/dirt or other materials
- 📀 World: Fixed the generation of Mobvote statues, previously would really hardly spawn as they collided with everything
- 📀 World: increased reefs density
- 📀 World: lava flows now inset into the ground
- 📀 Nodes: Biome placement split into individual shape nodes for easier control

🚧⚠ Issues / Things to be aware about |
As complexity rises, a small tweak or change can have unintended consequences, flaws, just poor choices, or I maybe hit certain limits of programs. These maps are really complex and hard to make, with dozens of steps and hundreds of layers to apply in the right order. And im just a non-magical-wizard boi making sometimes either a poor decision or an unintended mistake, but I want to let you know what might have an impact on your experience when playing this world and here’s what I´ve noticed:
- General: Map might get cut off at the edges, to minify the map size (MB) as much as possible
- Bedrock: Azalea leaves couldn't be converted (program limitation)
- Bedrock: Lootables of chests couldn't be converted (program limitation)
- Bedrock: The conversion to bedrock was done with a beta/nightly build of amulet(0.16b), and the map can experience small unexpected issues, that haven't been discovered during initial investigation

Minecraft Maps Java Installation Guide |
- Download map by clicking the yellow button at the top right of the description.
- On Windows, use keys Windows+R and then typing “%appdata%/.minecraft/saves/” into the command line. (On a Mac, your save files are in: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/saves/). This will open the saves folder
- Drag your downloader map (after unzip or unrar) in the zip/rar folderMap into saves folder.
- Close windows and reopen Minecraft
- .Select your map and play.

The world is as .mcworld file provided, meaning you just need to execute the file.
.mcworld is a renamed .zip file, you can rename it to .zip, and import it to your folder manually too.

🞂 How long did it take to make this map?
PMC contacted me relative spontaneously in between projects, and asked if i wanted to help out, they had some plans, how to tackle the event but, thought my maps would fit perfectly. Couldn't say no, and two Days later, this map was done.
Roundabout:
- Gathering the experience: ca 2500h +
- Building this export, around: 10h+
- Building assets and redoing node structures, 1 days
- Building, fixing, improving and adding customized small bits: ca 4h
- Rendering: 7h

Yes, every asset is done by myself. Those can be found here
🞂For 1.17 Maps, are Copper Ores and Deepslate included?
Normally, "Yes, near 0-20 will be a full layer of deepslate with all ores, Copper Ore is available underground everywhere", but i decided to exclude it for this map, to shift the focus to surface buildings
🞂For 1.17 Maps, are Crystal Geodes included?
Yes across the map are sparsely Geode scattered

These are adventure maps, survival maps, creative maps for you to build, play and explore. For my part, i gain new techniques and experience with every new map, building on that for the next and making map by map better maps.
