This map took me forever to build. First I had to terraform the entire map out of nothing. Then I had to place those bunkers, then decorate the beach so you would have enough cover there, but not to many and then those bloody trenches. But it made a good map.
The beach is just tactical manoeuvring for the allied team and shooting towards the bunkers in the hope to hit something, but to balance this out, the German forces have to rush from the bunkers all the way back to the bunkers looking over the beach. This should give theallied team some time to advance somewhat further without a hail of fire over them.
The inside of the bunkers are mostly close-combat. Allied forces can clear them out since German forces won’t respawn there. Keeping them cleared or occupying them might become tricky.
The trenches are a combination of open and close combat. The trenches themselves will become mostly close combat, but the grassland above that will be completely open with only a few bits of cover, including the AA-cannons.
"Duncan, I love this map. It is big, It is historical, It looks good. I love it. We are now playing with six people, but imagine this with 30 or 60 people! You would really recreate the slaughter it was back then!" says one of Duncan’s friends while test-playing.
