Battlecruiser "Aso"
*The cruiser that is all the way in the back on the last picture is not mine, but it is a present from my fellow ship builder named Matti. Below is his twitter account.

So this time I decided to make an original battlecruiser that has a unique main mast called pagoda mast.
Some of you may have noticed that the main mast somewhat resembles that of Yamato, and you are right. The model of the Aso's main mast is the mast of actual battlecruiser "Hiei", which its mast had been remade to test the upcoming Yamato's new type of main mast. So the main mast of Hiei was a combination of traditional pagoda mast and the new one.
The model of the hull is that of Kongo class battlecruiser, and the model of the funnel and after mast are those of battleship Nagato. So really Aso has little bits of parts from different ships.
I will put up the schematics file in few days but now I'm little busy so I will probably put it up by Christmas.
By the way, if you didn't know, all of the my ships have interiors. So I would like to say that that's the reason why it took so long to build this. Although the actual time I worked on this was probably about a month... Just to make reference, Yamato took almost 6 month to build, but again, the actual time I worked on Yamato was about 1~2 month.
I hope everyone has a great Christmas vacation and if you are interested to see more of my ships, please see the twitter moment below! Thank you!
