Description:
Built from 1970 to 1985, the 121-60-25 series is a 9 floor Soviet panel house. They can typically be found in large power producing cities such as Novocheboksarsk, Chistye Bory, Kurchatov, Kirovsk, Tikhvin, Yoshkar-Ola, Balashikha, Sergievo-Posadsky, Kandalaksha, Polyarnye Zori, Ryazan, Udomlya, Voronezh, Zaporizhia, Energodar and Pripyat with 131 buildings built in total (with the largest number of those concentrated in Pripyat). They have an interesting appearance, uncharacteristic for most panel houses, due to the special cross-shaped floor layout. There are 4 apartments per floor for each section with a total of 36 apartments. The entrance has one passenger elevator and there are garbage chutes with loading valves located on each floor. This series offers 3 types of apartments for residents:
