We have currently started a remake of the popular title Thousand Year Door for the gamecube. The map will contain all 8 chapters of the game, a texture pack, boss battles, save blocks, custom mobs, and shops all based around the content in the real game. This map will be an adventure map and by no means a viewing map (although you could treat it as a viewing map if you go into creative if you really feel like it). This remake will contain dungeons and puzzles based around the real game and there will be no requirement to play the real game before playing this map. We shall be giving weekly to monthly updates on the progress of the map and please be patient for the release which is not expected to be more than a few months ( more if were lazy, but well try not to be too lazy). Hope that you are excited for the release of the minecraft edition of Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.
Instructions:
Place the Thousand Year Door pack in the resorcepacks folder in your minecraft folder and the demo in save for single player use. Place the demo in your server for multiplayer use.
Single Player Settings:
Graphics-must be set to FAST!!!!!!!!!!!!
Must not be in peaceful (Just ignore difficulty settings beyond that)
Server Settings:
spawn-npcs=true
enable-command-block=true
spawn-monsters=true

Additional Notes
We will not be accepting any outside help from anyone for the construction of this map. We realize it is a big project and we already have a tough team skilled enough for the job. The texture pack is under construction and until it is finished, screenshots for the map will be in the default texture pack (were probably going to work on the texture pack last). So keep in mind that the map will look a lot different and a lot better when we do finish the texture pack. We are open to suggestions so leave your ideas in the comments and we will consider them thoroughly and we might even use them. Feel free to leave questions and comments and we will probably respond.
