OVERVIEW
Thank you for viewing Pathfinder Survival Island Adventure. You spawn on a tiny island in a immense ocean with no trees. Near your island are many mushroom isles that you can explore. Search around and you will find many hidden chests, ores, and caves. The goal of the map is to follow a series of paths to reach your friend John's house in the nether which can be accessed through the Black Tower. To reach the tower you must first find the start of the paths, located on the larger of the mushroom islands. Whenever a path reaches the ocean you must travel directly across it to reach the next path. At several points the path stops at a set of caves and you must find the tunnel where it starts again. Until you reach the mainland there is no wood so it will be tricky to survive. The path traverses a vast desert, several swamps, a snow biome, grassland, caves, and even the nether. Along the way you have to stop and make camp for the night. During your dangerous venture there are many things to discover: a small pyramid, a tree house, several cottages, a small mine and rail in a ravine, and much more! This map requires some survival skills as well as navigational skills and is not recommended for beginners. With that said if you know what you are doing you should not have much trouble. This map should take about 40-70 min depending on your skill level. Enjoy!
RULES
No mods or cheats and don't play on peaceful.
HINTS
· Look for caves underwater and on the island
· Make a boat to travel faster
· Make your first house in a giant mushroom
· Search for hidden chests everywhere
· Make plenty of torches when you can
· Don't spend too long in one place
· Place markers in the water and in the caves so you know where you're going
SPOILER
Start off by heading to the large mushroom island. Look around the base of the highest point until you find the caves. Take the wood from the caves and make a boat. If you want to spend the night on the island use a mushroom for a house. Before you head in check under all the giant red mushrooms for hidden ores. Take your boat and look for the start of the path on the far end of the island. Use the boat to go directly across the sea. When you reach the swamp on the mainland, gather a lot of wood and find the grassland next to the swamp. Find the small house and spend the night. In the morning go back to the swamp and find the start of the next path. Once you reach the desert look to your left for the small pyramid. Enter it and complete the challenge and you will be rewarded. Continue to follow the path through the desert. Once you find the forest the path will lead you to a set of caves. If you can't find the tunnel just proceed straight through the forest until you reach the shore. Near the shore is a ravine with a mine and a rail. Once at the shore look for the path and take it straight across the sea. When you reach the snow biome make a house to spend the night and then head to the caves in the grassland (the path will take you there) and look in all of them. It will be obvious which one of them has the tunnel since only one is an actual cave. When you are in the real cave look for a ladder. One ladder will lead to the surface, the other to the tunnel. Follow the long tunnel to its end and climb the ladder. There you will find the Black Tower. Note: the spoiler can only cover many of the main things to do; there are many more than can be described here.
