What's up everybody?
Rova's back for more with another small build!
After may failed attempts at a sky fighter type ship, I've finally managed to land (pun intended) a viable design for a two seater air fighter that can pack a good punch and still outmaneuver enemy ships!
I am proud to present - the Pejuang Matahari, or in simpler languages "Blade of the Sun."
Matahari-Class Imperial Airfighters are two seater fighter craft used to provide defense for larger air vessels, or when deployed en masse, overwhelm enemy forces. The front seat pilot controls maneuvering and steering while the rear pilot handles the weaponry. They are very nimble little craft, able to fly much faster than larger airships due to their dual engine intakes combined with added sail power. Sorian technology allows for the fighters to reach very high altitudes, making the craft a viable option for stealth recon missions as well.
When in battle, the Matahari-class fighter can pack a decent punch with it's two forward mounted miniguns. For larger or more heavily armored targets, the gunner can optionally choose to fire the overhead mounted crossbow turret for some nice explosive damage.
While the Arkellian Empire is contracting for more fighters to be made for it's military, the warrior province of Sabure is putting the fighters through their paces by having them run missions with their War Chariot vessels. This will ensure that when the fighters finally get placed into the Empress's air force, they will be more than ready to face any challenges that come at them.
Enjoy!

How've you been? Still making airships?
I've been knocking around - mostly doing administration work for this server I co-admin now, so I've had very little time. I did a release just last night, something a little more skeletal and ramshackle than these grand ships you do!
(Where were you if you were born in the sky?)
