Hey guys,

I'd like to present to you my newest project - Pietermaritzburg Court!

As in one of my other projects The Forlorn Mansion I tried to focus on realism/existing architecture but this time even more so I thought of possible architecture/structures that I could build. After only a short time of thinking making a court building came to my mind. I looked through a couple of travel guides of my parents and eventually found the "Pietermaritzburg Court" located in the South African city Pietermaritzburg which was built during the time South Africa was part of the Netherlands. From the beginning I liked the way the building was contructed and then decided to rebuild this court building.

I didn't want to have an exact and accurate replica of the building so I changed the palette a bit to brighter brownish/yellowish blocks like sandstone and wooden planks and also created a different environment (different trees, the street etc.).

Unfortunately I couldn't find a picture in the internet of the actual real court building otherwise I would have added it in the description. If someone somehow finds a picture of it in the internet please let me know and I'll add it.
