~second time posting since PMC can't handle having two map post editing pages open at the same time, apparently~
This one's an old project I've built a long time ago that I haven't really finished. Haven't even figured out how you get into the arena portion where you battle.
My imagination hit it's limit when I can't figure out how to build the outside portion of the stadium. Never actually seen a stadium irl, but I don't necessarily need to see one irl to be able to build it. Just that I need some reference points like rooms, where you actually walk through, reception areas, etc. I've tried looking into the stadium in the anime's final tournament arcs but I just can't muster the motivation to really figure it out anymore and here we are some time later.
No download for this stadium yet since I'm just not satisfied enough to actually share it. The amount of time I've put into it compared to the actual stuff that has been done is just too embarrassing.
I will be sharing the arena portion here with a download since I'm pretty happy with how that turned out.

After mulling about what to do with the outside I just decided to make it look like Japan's National Stadium, with a few adjustments here and there.
The Galeem thing in the front was originally just supposed to be a flat pokeball pixel art. ofc I wasn't satisfied with that and remebered really liking the gen 5 gym symbol. Figuring out the right amount of tilt wss a pain but I got it done. Also did the gen 8 gym symbol. I might or might not make a separate post and upload a schematic of that. Anyway, I then added the wings to both. Gen 5 gym symbol looked better but decided to remove the tail thing and settle for a tilted pokeball. Added a quadpod and voila, we get to what we have here.

Everything that can be recreated from what can be seen from SSBU is already done (except for the city background)
The hard part is just filling in the parts that can't be seen with interesting on theme ideas
but I get those few and far between
it's a skill issue
so it's just the kind of project where I come back to whenever I feel like it now
