While I finish the windmills I decided to take the loco D. LUIZ I, from my 161 years of portuguese railways project, and make the train from which she is famous, the Royal Train. Hope you like it!
Enquanto termino os moinhos de vento decidi pegar na locomotiva D. LUIZ I, do meu projeto dos 161 anos do caminho de ferro português e recriar o comboio que lhe deu fama, o Comboio Real. Espero que gostem!
About: the train entered service in 1862 and it integrated the locomotive and the car 'Salão de D.ª Maria Pia'. The loco was built in Manchester in 1855 and bought by 'Caminhos de Ferro do Sul e Sueste' in 1862, being the oldest steam loco in Portugal. The car was built in Brussels in 1858 and was offered as a present to the Queen for her marriage by her father, King Vítor Manuel II from Italy. In 1877 the last car, 'Salão do Príncipe', was added for the Prince D. Carlos. The locomotive was in use for 50 years. It was restored in 2010 in the workshops of Contumil by EMEF and it is displayed at the Nacional Railway Museum of Entroncamento.
Features:
- full interiors and locomotive parts.
Note: the scene portraited is not real, thouth it resembles drawing of the inauguration of the first rail line, Lisboa to Carregado.

In other words -> you simply need to have a reason to start talking/writing back. Sounds familiar.
