More heavily armed than the Vengance-class light gunships, the prevalence- class heavy gunships are larger and thus, slower than their lighter counterparts but are vastly more protected. Armed with 2 high explosive air-to-ground rocket pods, 2 dual machine gun turrets, 6 heavy anti-ship missiles, and four heavy mounted machine guns, the prevalence- class heavy gunships can take on heavily armed forces both on the ground and in the air on it's own, as well as take down larger structures that its lower counterparts cannot. And 3 or more are easily a match for small to medium sized starships.
