[English part]

Since a few years, the summits on ecology and the safeguard of the planet are multiplying. The environmental movements are gaining momentum and awareness is taking root. At the dawn of the disastrous consequences of global warming and pollution of nature, most nations seem finally to retreat and act on the subject.

On the whole of this map, we can distinguish a circle, a chain of snowy mountains and greenery. These are landscapes that we can say natural, the fir trees swarming on the ground, like swarms of insects. Concentrated, it is impossible to ignore the task in this table so harmonious. A gray white contrast with the apparent surrounding dirt lined with a symmetry foolproof size in the wild beauty of nature. Only the smoke seems to escape the grip of the man. All this is as disastrous as a sad spectacle, the floor surrounding the nuclear plant has become a kind of brown molasses full of putrid lumps. The proud trees have shriveled up,
leaving room for a horror movie set. The water is contaminated by unknown substances, so that it is marked by pollution spots, similar to scars still purulent.

With this map, the Rossignol BT has metaphorically wanted to show the impact of our creations and our means of production on the environment. The years that follow will be decisive for the question of safeguarding the planet. Ecology is also a citizen action, no one is helpless in the face of pollution. Internet is probably the best way to find out! Many actions of this kind take place on the internet and especially on the youtube platform, this animated short film of the channel Steve Cutts gives us another vision of the impact of the man, with a touch of irony, enough to awaken consciences?

You know steam (hot water) is what comes out of cooling towers (what you made).

nice project :)
sad truth :(
and unfortunately a very miserable chance of mankind's change of mind/actions. :s

There have been 2 movies that defined mankind so extraordinary precisely well...
One being the Matrix, where agent Smith talked about human being comparing it to Virus
and the other one... even more definitive:

I agree with your message in general, however it is important to remember that nuclear power is carbon-neutral and produces no pollution. It, unlike solar and wind, is a viable option to replace fossil fuels in the short run, and the only downsides are the small risk of accident (mitigated by proper management) and the waste produced, which can be buried in the desert, as much of it is.
For all of it's faults, nuclear power is one of the safest and cleanest sources of energy available to us now.

Nuclear Powerplant, Coal Powerplant, Oil Refinery, Chemistry, Industry, Plastic, Waste (produced by civilians en masse)... what does it matters? nothing, each one being the same as the other.
This planet should be renamed accordingly to what we have made out of it... a Desolation & Trashcontainer.

I think you fail to grasp the complexity of the situation.
Nuclear can be 100% clean if done properly, and the waste can be buried in the desert or in the future shot into space, where it poses no threat. Coal plants, depending on the country, produce a massive amount of pollution (though typically not as much as oil refineries).

It is easy to say things like this, but these aren't easy problems to solve. People don't want to return to a time without power or manufacturing.

no... I got the point pretty well.
I was talking about that it absolutely doesn't matter what he depicted in the "picture" - in this case the nuclear powerplant... the point is about humankind's polution and waste impact on nature.

Aside that... the only and true problem, well, beside human nature of desolation, is that people do not want to think outside of MONEY realm.

"...People don't want to return to a time without power or manufacturing..."
false argument/statement/excuse

You are saying it as if there would not be an alternative option for energy resource.
OFC there is... for decades now already.. and? are they implemented en masse? Nope.

Nowadays "western countries" start to implement electro-vehicles...
is that the solution? surely not.
People start to implement bio-oil... is this the solution? definitely not
etc.

For everything there is one main "excuse" why humankind does not implements something new and it is always: "IT COSTS TOO MUCH"

If there would be no money, what excuse would they have?

There are far more efficient and cleaner sources to gain energy ... ever heard about hydrogen? and the several other option, which are ignored and just tagged as fantastical or hoaxes.

Humankind deserves all the blasphemies it gets. We are our own blasphemy.
