The RMS Queen Mary was a transatlantic liner launched in 1934 with her maiden voyage in 1936. She was also used as a troop carrier during WWII to house POWs and English and American soldiers. a Portion of D-Day was in the room that Winston Churchill stayed in! After the Second World War, she returned to her passenger duties. but due to the the amount of people choosing the Jet airliners in the 60s and because of the loss of revenue from the small amount of passengers, the Queen was retired. Today she is in the port of Long Beach at pier J and is permanently moored at Pier J this model is a 1:1 scale of the real ship and what she looks like today. It is a WIP
