The Raptor-Class Light Assault Bomber is the most common bombing ship in the United Nations Armed Forces. It was first developed in C.E. 2357.

The Raptor is best known for its portability and versatility. at only 9m L by 10m W by 3.7m H, the Raptor is one of the smallest ships in the U.N.A.F. and can easily fit into even the smallest hangars. This size also makes the Raptor a difficult target for other ships. Additionally, the Raptor utilizes both a Class-C Nuclear Fission Engine and 16 1m diameter rotor blades to allow for easy maneuverability in both air and space.

The Raptor is designed to be able to perform precision bombing missions, but a small squad of Raptors can easily accomplish larger tasks such as the carpet bombing of cities or enemy strongholds. A highly skilled pilot may even be capable of targeting enemy ships.

The Raptor is not designed for dog-fighting or other forms of ship-to-ship combat. However, it is equipped with two Class-1 Semi-Automatic Plasma Cannons in case it is forced to defend itself against enemy fire.
