Hey guys, I thought it's time to give the outer areas of the city a bit more love, so I decided to build these little town houses.
They are based on real buildings, once again ones from Leeds, UK. They are 5-6 stories tall and feature balconies for each apartment.

The main reason why I wanted to build them was the slanted roof :D I have too many flat ones, so this is was a welcome
change.

I usually don't upload any saves because it's boring to just copy stuff. That's not what Minecraft is about. Instead, I recorded a "Let's build" for this, so in case you want to build one on your own, please feel free to do so :P :)

What texturepack do you use for your builds? It looks amazing for street apartments and roads they just look incredible, Can you tell me the name of that texture pack that you used in this build? Btw you should add download link for people who wants to visit your art and get inspired. Good work tho!

It does, yes. It is mostly still the Flow's HD texture pack with a few custom textures. I can't share this one unfortunately but I'm working on a similar pack with all custom textures. But that will still take some time, most textures licences don't allow redistribution in a pack etc. which means I either have to take my own pictures or generate them using a software.

I mean, the roads are mostly gravel and wool / clay which are from the original pack. However, you probably need custom texture for the stairs and the guard rails (the gray ones are nether bricks with a concrete texture).

This is very cool what scale is this done in it looks like 1.5 to 1. But that was also very true what you said about not putting a download that's not what minecraft is about, very insightful words indeed.

Yeah, It's probably somewhere between 1.5x -2x which makes them look a bit too big, but it also allows for more detail. However, the whole map is at this scale so it's not too bad. Some of my other builds are waaaaaay too big though if you compare them with their real-life counterparts :D
