As the rebels return to base from a damaging battle they are met by 3 arquintens light cruisers. Now while half their fleet was damaged this would be an easy fight. Except the Commander of the Nimbus (Nebulon-B) Ordered half the fleet to retreat should Imperial reinforcements come. As the Grant (Gr-75) had vital supplies for their cause. So while half the fleet took off escorted by the remaing a-wing squadrons, the other half stayed and fought bravely, only delaying their inevitable fate.
