This is no more then a proof of concept at this time. I plan to edit this system to work exactly as described below, but as it stand now, only preforms a basic version of the task needed.

What the system is intended to do is toggle the on/off state of two output devices in a set manner: output 1 turns on first, and the output two turns on. Alternatively, when turning off, output 2 turns off first, and then output 2 turns off.

This system has a lever and two buttons. The lever controls which button will work, and the button's are labeled as to which triggering routine it preforms. Again, this is only a proof of concept at this point in time. This is not meant to be implemented into what it's designed as it stands (into a gate system). I will update this project as the system matches what is needed.

The system has finally been finished and has gone from the one button plan, to the two button/one lever proof, to the final two button system. As you will see when working the system, along with in the screen shots, the buttons can only be pressed once. After being pressed, the system will set itself so the other button has to be pressed. Although I'm sure a RS Latch like this has been made, the design here is all my own. From the main button system, each output breaks into more outputs, thus allowing one button to control two devices: in this case, pistons.

How this system works:
-The button's: This is a basic RS latch. Out of this RS latch are two outputs.
-The outputs: each output breaks into two more: one output from each set will be blended together with two diodes. The picture will show how this works. Please note the position of the diodes!
-The two outputs then go to two flip-flop's. The outputs from the flip-flops will go to whatever you wish to power: in this case, two pistons.
