Hello!

These stables were made for the RomeCraft: Legacy minecraft ancient Roman roleplaying server! It was made specifically for a plot of farmland I "own" in game, but I see no need to be stingy with it.

This was made specifically in, and is meant to be viewed with, the RomeCraft texture pack by Stugace, which can be found HERE

Finding historical examples of stables was actually harder than I thought. So instead of using a specific example or drawing, I tried to balance the general "rules" of making a Roman building (brick roof, sloping mostly inward, etc.) with the need to fit horses.

Each stall is intended for one horse ideally, but could easily fit two. Fences at the rear of the stall allow for leads/leashes to be attached. There are two (small!) storage rooms on either side of the central portion of the stables. Water is provided for our future equestrian friends, and the grass inside the stalls *will be replaced with hay when the 1.6 update happens*

Furthermore, this build uses an exterior wall-fence combination to help prevent thievery or escaping horses. Also the stalls are low enough (I think?) to not allow a mounted rider to enter or, more importantly, to exit them. Lastly, the main gate at the front requires any potential thief to dismount the horse and use a lead... if they'd even get that far before I skewer them ;)

Comments and suggestions are ALWAYS welcome! Thanks!
