This is my Temple of Jupiter in Minecraft Bedrock Edition. The temple is now completely finished podium and all. Creds to Rafael_Carioca for the Statue of Nike and the Griffons on the roof. They are not direct copies of his work but are heavily influenced by him. I decorated the temple with garlands of oak leaves because the oak is sacred to Jupiter. The roof is done in gold following the style of the Temple of Jupiter Optimus Maximus and the building itself is a heptastyle pseudodipteral temple and is of the Corinthian order. The podium of the temple is decorated with a procession of figures in high relief and is inspired by the Pergamon altar. The statue of Jupiter is inspired by the statue of Zeus at Olympia while the interior of the structure is based off of that of the Temple of Venus and Roma.

The second temple is dedicated to Juno and features a dome. It is based off of the design of the temple of Venus at Baalbek. The inside of the dome is gold and a statue of Juno stands in the center. Both temples are done in the Corinthian style.

There are more temples and monuments planned, and the idea is to transform the space into an imperial forum inspired by the Forum Romanum.

Beautiful build! One of my all-time favorites! The statues are superb - capturing an essence without oversized block heads, the corinthian, the garlands, the zeus!

Thanks so much. I'm glad you like this build so much. I'm working on a second temple located beside this one and hope to finish it soon. I've also added some extra details to this temple. Once I'm done the second temple I'll upload it. Hope you enjoy it! :)

Well interior is perfect - there is no nothing left to di in my eyes. Even Jupiter's statue isn't bad. I hope the the 30% that are missing will fill this white platform, because even this templum isn't big enoght to fill it; also why are the stairs not centred to the temple's enterance?
Anyways - the interior itself deserves an own diamond

Thanks a million. I've been thinking about turning this into an Acropolis like structure so I will probably cover the rest of the podium with buildings. I haven't finished putting in the stairs which is why they aren't centered with the temple. Anyways I appreciate your words thanks alot.

An acropolis is not a bad idea; but this is much more greek than grecoroman - I would propose to make the podium much smaller and just sorround it normal houses or to tranfer it into the middle of a classical forum. Your nice interior is much more Roman than Greek so you should try to keep more at Roman than Greek structures. Ok Roman's Capitol is similar to an acropolis but honestly; never build an acropolis on (relativ) flatland.

A forum is an amazing idea. I will definitely do that. Later on I'm going to do a Capitolium on a hilltop similar to the Capitoline hill in rome.
