Hello everyone !
I present you my first project ever. Its name is RTE which stands for Race Track Experience !
If you have been playing Minecraft for some time now you may know that boat can go quite fast on ice. As a motorsport and videogames fan, I decided to start this project whose goal is to let people race on ice with boat on reality inspired circuits, starting with the first one: Le Mans 24h Circuit.
The track has been downsized because of it's lenght (13+ kms), and it will be 100% explorable with side mini-games, grandstands, etc... It's not just made for racing, it has to be a complete experience.

About the circuit
This the most important part of the track. This is where you can find access to the pits, redstone systems, V.I.P. areas, press room, race management room.. What is race management room ? This where you can choose track configuration and race mode. You can find it in the building to the right on the screenshot above.
This is Chabre. You can go there whenever you feel like you want to relax and have a drink, visit the car showcase, or just take a sit and watch the race.
Basically it's where you live. Most of your team's equipment is there. When you've chosen your team, you will spawn right in your motorhome, except for the yellow team where you spawn directly at your workspace ! But don't worry, your motorhome is on your right, downstairs. You won't miss it.
Come visit the camping, this is where spectators sleep all the week-end ! You may find interesting things there ;)
Like on the real circuit, there is a golf. It's fully functionnal, you can go there and play golf with your friends ! There is also a basketball court and other activities out there !
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Disclaimer: I am not affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with the brands that you may see on the map. They are there just because most of them are affiliated with motorsports - especially Le Mans 24H/WEC for most of them - in order to add realism to the track.
You absolutly need Optifine in order to make the resource pack work properly !!
Oh, and the map is very resources-intensive therefore you may have some lags if your PC is a bit rusty.
Note: There may be a problem with boat textures, some of you noticed only one texture (the purple one) is used for all boats.
I resolved the problem at the moment, but here is my specs, I hope this will work for you all:
- Optifine HD G5 Ultra
- Minecraft 1.16.4
The map is still in BETA and not 100% FINISHED so feel free to dm me about bugs and track improvements ! This is an old version of RTE1 but it will still be updated when the first complete redstone system come out !

CIRCUIT MAP
MAIN BUILDING

RACE MODES
There will be race modes:
- Free practice: you can just drive around the circuit to increase your skills, no lap limit.
- Qualification: 1 outlap to warm up your tires, 1 hot/qualifying lap to then 1 inlap so you can go back to the pits.
side note: you have to follow the 3 laps order, the system is made for that. You also have to take note of your time, it'll be displayed
at the end of your hotlap on the bottom of the screen !
- Race: 5 laps, up to 10 players. May the best driver win !!
side note: this mode will not be directly available when the map will be out /!\

Hi !
As some of you who follow this account may know, an overhaul of the map will be published during this year. While the newer version will be very different from the original one, this version will still be available and it will receive plenty of updates in the upcoming months.
