Bored of the same old default terrain?

Presenting to you, Rubicon Valley!

In the world there's a huge valley with many overhanging arches. I tried to make this as natural looking as possible, hopefully so much so that you won't notice being close to the bedrock! I have also left some flat land in the centre for building space, as I plan to make an abandoned village inside :)

This is my very first voxel sniper project, so your opinions are greatly appreciated in order to improve my next projects :)

Updated 03-01-12:
  • Joined the two valleys into one huge one.
  • Removed huge tree (It wasn't up to my standards and didn't fit into the theme.)
  • Added more big trees
  • more waterfalls (For scenery and easier transportation up the cliffs.)
  • added ores and caves
*Tip* Go through the arch with the tree roots hanging down to get into the second part of the valley!

Once you see this you won't look at the default Minecraft landscape the same!

I will make custom terrain for other biomes such as deserts and tundra (snow) and eventually put them all into one huge custom made map. This is the first biome, the rain forest. Subscribe to me if you wish to be updated with the progress of the project :)

Mate, how could I thank you enough ...

It's on this map (reuploaded on a french website) i met some of my very close friends.
When we were on this map, we built a lot of things, it was so much fun, it was few years ago ...

Now, we are still playing mc, we grown up (oh my lord, i'm narrating my life lmaoo)

I re-downloaded the map today, it was a bunch of souvenirs i left on this island

What happened to the old Rubicon Valley?!

The oen where there were giant trees everywhere in one area, a village in another, and everythign was pure ocean! I still remember the place I found in the center, surrounded by heavily forested tops. I want that one too!

worldedit first you do //wandthen you select the to positions by right and left clicking (with the wand)you are also able to select positions by //pos1 and //pos2 then do //set <block> //replace <block> to <block> (without the to) or if you get more advanced which i am but these are basics but once you wanna see the rest of commands do //we help or /we help i forget which one hope this helps if you want to show your appreciation diamond my Texture Pack.
