Here it is. Maybe the most famous tank of the Second World War: the Russian T-34-85 medium tank.
The number 85 means that this version of the amazing tank mounts an 85mm gun.
The tank was produced in more than 84.00 pieces (I'm counting all of its variants), and the production lasted even after the end of the war.
Its top speed is 55 km/h and has a crew of 4, but after the realisation of the T-34-85 the crew was added one more crew member.
This is claimed to be the best tank of the Second World War, even the german officer von Kleist said: "The T-34 is the best tank of the world".
I bring you my model of the T-34-85 in two different colours: a "standard" one in grey, as it has just left the factory and now has to be paint with the well know dark green, and one with a desert camo.
