This is the S.S. Karlsruhe, a fictional ship from 1923 built out of the former custom built S.S. Wilhelmshaven, owned by CronosDarth.

In my fictional story, was the S.S. Karlsruhe the first new ship taken in service at the transatlantic route for the Germania-Atlantic-Line after WWI.
She was just a two class liner, served only first and second class passenger, but used a good standard of luxury for both classes to gain a good reputation.



Her hull and engines were originaly constructed in 1914, but because of the war the company who ordered it went bankrupt and the unfinished hull was sold for cheap money to the Germania-Atlantic-Line who finished the ship in 1923. It should be a symbol to show the world that the GAL was back in buisness and started to modernize their company standards.



With the high standard of luxury for both classes on board and the quite small numbers of passanger fitting onboard, the S.S. Karlsruhe was most of the time fully booked and became very popular by full time travelers between Europe and the USA. With the good profit in mind the GAL even planned to built a running mate which was a bit bigger and more modern to double the income from the smaller liners.



The S.S. Karlsruhe stayed in service until 1935 and was due to the financial crysis later sold out to a different company.
