A replica of the sports arena Scandinavium in Göteborg Sweden during the hockey season :)
Scandinavium is the primary indoor sports and event arena in Göteborg, Sweden. Construction on Scandinavium began in 1969 after decades of setbacks, the arena was built in time for the 350th year anniversary celebration of the City of Göteborg and was inaugurated on May 18, 1971.
Scandinavium has been selected as a championship arena at least fifty times, hosting events such as World Championships in ice hockey, figure skating, and swimming, European championships, Davis Cup finals, and in 1985 the Eurovision Song Contest. Scandinavium is the home arena for Frölunda HC of SHL, and venue for the annual Göteborg Horse Show. (Wikipedia)
This is a project I started a while ago but never got around to finishing. I had planned to finish it at some point but I lost interest, so I am releasing it now for everyone to enjoy! I plan on making a better and more accurate version of the arena at some point, that is why I have renamed this project v1 ;) Enjoy!
The arena is built partially on pictures, but mostly from my memory of many hockey games spent there. :D
Time spent building: About 5 hours so far.
Blocks: 26025 so far
Mods used: Single Player Commands, Worldedit, Optifine
I HAVE NOT DECIDED IF I WILL RELEASE IT UNTIL IT'S FINISHED.
Progress:

- Build stands 100%
- Build walls100%
- Build roof 100%
- Build VIP lounge100%
- Build changing rooms 5% Cancelled
- Build McDonalds/Shops 0% Cancelled
- Build entrance 0% Cancelled
The roof is not made out of glass for real but lighting the rink was near impossible without it.

Finally releasing because I have no interest in finishing it. Have started making a much more accurate version instead, so stay tuned for version 2 :)
