Sentinel-class Missile Cruiser

Here's the first part of my extremely-belated Easter update. (Several things stopped me from uploading my entire upload, namely Planet Minecraft being down, lots of stuff to do, and slow building on the ship. I'll upload the concept art later, which means after I actually make it.) Anyway, I halted production of the Dauntless in order to build this, which is countering the massive amount of ships Iyecte is putting out. Spec Time!

Upon the launch of several more vessels of Iyecte, the Skylords decided to halt development of the Dauntless-class aircraft carrier in order to keep up with the arms race. Skylord Brony was ordered to immediately build a new class of ship, and didn't even bother with designs. The Sentinel-class was devised to carry missiles to borders and hover for long periods of time, acting as a flying missile base. While also designed as a Dauntless escort, it has limited defensive and short-range offensive capabilities, and as a result is often escorted by Falcon-class ships. It was created partially as a testbed for design elements of the Defiant-class, including dual superstructures, an inborne helicopter hangar, and weaponry in the hull. The instant the first prototype was constructed, the Skylords ordered the immediate construction of additional warships, creating a full fleet of missile vessels. While it is slightly larger than an Indomitable, it has much larger bridge, albiet a bridge mostly taken up by missile control consoles. One of the best ships in the Air Navy, it is almost as coveted of a position as the Indomitable. Even though the Skylords were moving towards a more jet-lifted fleet, as jet ships like the Falcon and Dauntless were faster, more maneuverable, and had a higher ceiling, Skylord Brony surprised them by fitting the Sentinel with six rotors, but with good reason. The ship is designed as a hovering missile base, and rotors tended to be more stable in tests than jet engines, so it can hover almost pillow-soft even while firing off every missile it has.
