For this project, I've tapped back into influences from ancient times in the Indian sub-continent. This monument is a crude representation of the stunning and ornate structures still standing in many parts of the region.

The obelisk stands 160 blocks tall from base to pinnacle, and will make a lovely addition to any number of worlds. Its design is intended to convey both reverence and power, but its use in your world is entirely up to you.

Taking the One Chunk Challenge, I wanted put my architectural design skills to the test - I'm a firm believer that one can get a surprising amount of detail out of 16 blocks. I've actually compartmentalized the single chunk into 10 unique sections of the obelisk, many of which can be seamlessly interchanged (positionally) to the builder's liking; this was a great way to keep the monument's evolution going as I built it.
