I'm back with another realistic terrain map. This time I set myself the challange to create a so called braiding river with side streams and deposited sediments. I also tried to get bands of rock in the mountains and cliffs, like you can see in real life. I also tried to make the overall terrain a lot more bumpy by not telling WorldMachine how to place stuff, but where to place stuff. The shape of the "stuff" is then determened by an advanced perlin (basically a bumpyness generator).
The map is 2000 by 2000 blocks and designed to be played in 1.7.10 (mainly because then I could use shaders). I also highly encourage you to use the Conquest texturepack with connected textures when walking around the map. This will enable you to see the different stone types used.
