Hello, My name is Lockie and I've recently been trying to teach myself how to build in minecraft watching videos using voxelsniper and worldedit and this I thought was a good first project for me. Like drawing a popcorn kernal I think I can make great things after this. Honestly though, it's only 75-80% done, I still need to put in a couple more of TheBigBaron's intact ships docked and/or floating over yonder and I need to build up the cove itself, a little terraforming. Do not be afraid to criticize but do be afraid to troll. Be very afraid.

RIght everyone, she's finished! This has been an awesome build to do not only for the scale and the idea but for the movie scene. I honestly wanted this to look as close to the movie scene as possible and I think I accomplished that.
I wanted the paint to make the rocks look like there was once a body of water resting in that cove and for the outside to look as if waterfalls had been spilling over the top but now have long dried up leaving behind their mossy footprints. Originally I saw the sand and thought, "Ok tropical, let's see what we can do." But it looked wrong, so I watched the movie for the million and first time, noticed that the cove was completely dark (almost scorched by cannon fodder) rock with algae and moss growing from the cracks. Being that it isn't easy to build a building made from broken ships, I feel that this project was one of my most ambitious.
