How to Ride Lifts
The resort has 9 lifts. They give access to several mini-games and runs. To get in a lift, gondola, poma, or even bus, simply right-click the minecart. You may have to right-click multiple times, but this is rare. In game versions before Minecraft 1.13, you will need to put the player's head completely inside the minecart before right-clicking. Lifts close for the night, but now you can also purchase night skiing! The button for night skiing is in the Apex Gondola building in the Base Village. The purchase will keep the Apex Gondola always open.
How to Play Mini-Games
The resort currently has 7 mini-games, but in future updates more will be added. Use the map in the photos above to locate mini-games. Most games are intuitive. Some have brief instructions on signs at the game. Mini-games are the only ways to earn more money. You will be able to use this money to buy food, upgrade skis, and buy other items like elytra.
How to Ski
You will initially get skis at the airport when you arrive. These will be tier 1. There are four options. Choose one. Once you can afford it, you can buy tier 2, 3, and 4 boots in the large, jungle wood building in the base village. The ski boots will help you go faster. When you start out, don't spend all your money on buying ski boots. You need to save money for food. You can ski even faster by turning on the ADVANCED SKIING option in the control center (see below).
Control Center
The control center is located in the Base Village. It is inside the building to the left of the Ski Boot Center (the jungle wood building). You can purchase access to the control center for $500 credits! There are several game-changing options inside the center. For instance, you can turn off the day-night cycle. This is automatically on when you start out. There are other options as well. The control center also allows you to turn on ADVANCED SKIING. This gives a speed boost when standing on snow.
Money, Credits, and Currency
When you spawn in the world, you will receive 150 credits. This is displayed on the scoreboard. You can earn more credits by playing mini-games. See the map for mini-game locations. To purchase ski boots, housing, access to the control center you will use credits. But, for almost everything else, you will need to use $$$ (gold ingots). You can turn credits into $$$ by using an ATM. These are located all over. See the map.
Housing
To skip the night, sleep in a bed. You can purchase access to beds by two methods: buying a hotel room or buying permanent housing (apartments and houses). Go to the HOUSING DEPARTMENT in the base village for information on hotels and housing. The first option is to buy a hotel room. Hotel options are located upstairs in the Housing Department building. There are four hotels. At each hotel, you can buy a room. Once purchased, you will be teleported to room access. Here, find a bed and sleep. You can exit by pressing the exit button. The room will then expire.
Permanent housing can also be purchased. This is done by locating a purchasable house or apartment and pressing the purchase button. Once bought, every player on the map will have access. There are beds in each house where you can sleep. Once purchased, you will always have access to the house.
Death
You may die while skiing. If you do, you will respawn in the hospital in the base village. You will also be fined a hospital bill of $150. Just... try not to die.
Pine Amusement Park
In a recent version of Working Ski Resort 3.0, an amusement park has been added. To get to Pine Amusement Park, take the tram from the Base Village to the airport. Enter the airport and buy a ticket to Pine Park Airport for $50 credits. The plane will take you to the park. In the park, you can ride rides, buy food, and play the Shooting Gallery mini-game. To get back to the main resort, exit the park through the gift shop and take the train to Pine Park Airport. Buy a plane ticket to the main airport for $25 credits.
Review by ItsFunneh (English)
ItsFunneh and friends take a trip to the mountain resort! They explore the map, play games, and of course, ski. It's too bad the 'Tower of Tear-or' in Pine Amusement Park didn't function. Whoops!
Review by SparkofPheonix (German)
SparkofPheonix enjoys a day at the resort. He makes the perfect day by shopping, skiing, and riding lifts.
Review by ArticKraft (Spanish)
ArticKraft travels all around the resort, skiing, riding, and shopping.
Review by Blasto (French)
Blasto spends some quality time exploring even the furthest corner of the map. He rides lifts and skis but also tries to look into the inner workings of the completely vanilla redstone-operated map.
