The USS Zenith B is an Exeter Class starship from my non-canon alternate universe. The exterior is heavily inspired by TOS constitution class ships, while the interior takes a more TNG/VOY design. I have designed this ship (for roughly 7-8 years now) to be as jam-packed with features as possible, for the ultimate RP experience. Working phasers, transporters, shields, and many other features have been incorporated with the help of redstone and command blocks. I've tried my best to make this a living ship, by giving all the crew jobs, ranks, and personality through the use of PADDs (books) and other unique items. While I love seeing others work in 1:1 scale, the Zenith (and all my builds) is built in what is known as "Mozzie-scale", so named after PMC user Mozzie, who inspired myself and many other builders on PMC to work on Star Trek builds in Minecraft. I basically treat this ship as a showcase to show off what you can do with my 'A Touch of Trek' resource pack.

This ship is free to be used in any personal projects and on servers, as long as credit is given and a link is provided to this post. I built this ship and added all these features for them to be used by people!

v1.9

Added new models from v2.3 of A Touch of Trek throughout the ship, including wrenches, drills, etc. Added a new feature that allows you to teleport back to the ship from anywhere, as long as you are in range of the ship. Simply drop the combadge item on the ground, and pick it back up to engage transport. Added emergency farming supplies to the garden on Deck 6. Added airlocks to each nacelle, granting topside access. Added dermal regenerators in a few key places (golden apples). A lot of bug fixing and squashing. I am learning MC's new command structure more and more. ALSO I'm not sure if I mentioned it here but a previous update included blinking red lights throughout the entire ship when the red alert is triggered.

v1.8

Mojang went and changed how resource packs work, and the syntax used for much of this command-block laden craft. I spent many hours furiously re-engineering commands to get the ship back in working order. Let me know if you find bugs! I added 1.13 content to the R&D lab, added the new 1.14 crafting stations around the ship, and shortened the jefferies tubes in some sections so you can actually crawl through them.

Replaced archaeology lab with gym. Combined R&D lab with Bio-lab, remade Deck 6 into the arboretum. Redid shuttlebay with new ToT v2.0 shuttle models. Added access to the rest of Deck 3 from secondary bridge. Moved Chief engineer's office to Deck 5 outside main engineering. Added tool closet and damage control locker to Deck 4. Added spacesuits outside every airlock. Added weapons locker to Deck 4. Other minor changes and polishing throughout the ship.

v1.6

Minor changes to make the ship compatible with A Touch of Trek v1.9. Added lore book describing the past events of 'Borg Assault'.

v1.5

Redid the color scheme for nearly every floor on the saucer section. Full compatibility for A Touch of Trek v1.8. Remodeled the crew lounge. With A Touch of Trek v1.8, you can flip a switch to play lounge music. Remodeled the conference room, utilizing the new gold model ships. Remodeled the laundry room (twice the machines!) Remodeled a portion of the brig. Remodeled Captain and First Officer's rooms. Many more small additions and bugfixes.

Made neck of ship wider, added jefferies tube access. Changed wall color to grey. Added new warp core with animated textures. Updated crew lounge. Added system on the ship that allows tricorders to make sounds and make creatures glow through walls when right clicked. Full compatibility with A Touch of Trek v1.7.

Added ambient sounds to engineering. Remade Cargo Bay 2 into a working bowling alley. Added sinks to every bathroom on the ship.

Many new features in this update! Brand new nacelles, WORKING shields, remodeled many rooms, added a new pool, added an industrial replicator room where you can spawn a complete uniform set, added the ability to close the shuttlebay bulkhead door, added ability to disable the transporter and warp core, tons of cosmetic changes and improvements. Too many changes to remember all at once. It feels like a new ship all over again, and just in time for 1.13.

v1.1

The USS Zenith B is now designed to work with the latest version of 'A Touch of Trek'. The secondary hull and nacelles have been completely replaced. Saucer height has been increased by half a block to allow carpeting/floor grates/etc, Finally no more white floors! Many rooms have been redesigned, shifted, and added. The crew now not only have unique names, but also specific specialties (conn officer, gravimetric scientist, etc.) Lore 'PADDs' and other items have been added that bring personality to the crew, making the Zenith a living ship. What was formerly known as deck 3 is now a sub-deck containing the sensor dome antenna, RCS thruster access ports, and a tractor beam emitter maintenance panel. Transporter room redesigned. Sick bay redesigned. Hydroponics redesigned. The ship's records/computer library now contains even more lore books describing everything from Dilithium to the type-15 shuttlepods found in the hangar bay. Truly, there have been too many changes to count.

v1.0

The original USS Zenith has had so many changes and upgrades over the past year or two, that I thought it was necessary to call this a new ship entirely. This is the USS Zenith (NCC-2113-B) of my non-canon alternate universe.

The saucer's deck height has been increased from 2 blocks to three blocks, while maintaining it's slim profile. I did this by removing the raised half-slab rings on the top and bottom, which made it appear 5 blocks thick. I then boosted the ceiling of the saucer by one block. Doing this allowed me to install lights in the ceiling, so finally I can have proper block walls (instead of glowstone).

I completely removed the old secondary hull and warp nacelle, and rebuilt a new one in the general design of a constellation class. It's not exact however, so I'm calling this a fictional 'Athalos Class' based on the successes of the original design. There is some lore included that describes why this class was developed, and it even calls back to some of the events of the Adventure Series.

Notable changes include:
-Gym has been replaced with a Hydroponics bay, complete with sprinkler system
-New Archaeology Lab
-New Secondary hull, nacelles, and engineering
-Made both ENS/LTJG barracks symmetrical, which allowed me room to install 5 escape pods
-Removed display case, managed to fit in a Water Recycler
-Added new greebles to the Life Support room
-Reworked all of the redstone around the Bridge from scratch
-On the bridge, Impulse is now controlled from one switch, the other switch activates shields (Only text, no effects)
-New shuttlebay is large enough for a shuttlecraft
-Sick bay now only has only one bed behind glass (as a surgery/isolation room)
-Armory door has been moved
-Removed annoying pressure plates
-Added Captain's Ready room
-Added new custom items, including tricorders and hidden tribbles
-12 PADDs located in the computer lab provide extra background info
-And a lot more that I can't think of right now!

My drive for minecraft has dulled the past few weeks. (It tends to ebb and flow) At one point during my spree I had intentions of releasing an update for the original Zenith, retconning it with the TOS assets I made for A Touch of Trek. A pre-Dust version, all un-crashed and the like. Maybe I'll fiddle with that sometime.

Looks pretty cool so far! I love the use of redstone and commands. I would just suggest adding more detail and contrast to the exterior to break up the blinding white of the quartz.

Honestly, I think I went a little overboard on the old Zenith, doing all that greebling and grey metal. I was actually going for a very sleek, streamlined, and yes blindingly white look this time around. It's taken me the course of a day to want to redesign the nacelles and struts to those closer to an Ambassador Class though, so who knows, that might change as well.

Trust me, I love the way quartz looks for Star Trek ships. It's what I use. It's just that if you look an the Enterprise Refit, it has lines and different details all over it. Adding iron in patterns looks great, the slight off color is nice.

It's been 3 months, but I finally took your advice. Added some off-white concrete for line and iron blocks that are lined up where the escape pods are, as well as bunches of greebling on the new nacelles.
